New Dragon Type Cards

Finally, after all the years of making Pokemon cards, we have, drum roll please…… DRAGON TYPE CARDS!!! There will be 20 new cards coming in, but of course, there are no new energy cards for them, all of the cards will be using energy cards of other types. To see some of these cards and for a bit more information, head inside the jump!

These cards are a very cool addition to the Trading Card game and easily have a chance to change how the competitions will work and how some people strategize their game plan. Salamence and Rayquaza will be released in the “Dragon Selection” sub-set releasing on January 27. Others will probably be on their way soon.

Ever since I was 3 and first started my adventure in the Pokemon world I’ve always wondered whatever happened to dragon type cards? These cards are sure to be a huge hit, and I cannot wait until the release of these cards.

So, what do you think? Do you like these cards? Do they seem interesting to you? Do you think they’re a good addition to the Pokemon Trading Card Game? Should we post even more news on the Trading Card Game? Let us know in the comments!

That’s actually really cool. If I were into the TCG as much as I was when I was little, I’d certainly pick up these cards. They’re really cool!

  2. I always noticed how the normal type took up the types of normal, dragon, flying and steel, and it always bothered me.

I never got into the competitive aspect of the TCG, but I used to collect them. It’s really awesome that there FINALLY are Dragon type cards. Dragon types are the favorite types of many, after all. I always wondered why they just couldn’t make a type in the TCG for every type in the games.

FINALLY! Pokemon has finally pleased us all with Dragon type cards. I was always bothered by the lack of Ice, Flying, Bug, Poision (and contiunes to list the lack of pokemon types in the TCG.)

Physic is considered Poison, Chicken Storm. It has always been considered dual. Such as Flying and Normal. Grass & Normal with Bug. Ice is Water or Normal.

    aren’t there steel energys?

  7. flippystar says:

this is actualy bad in my opinion, now ancient mew wont have all the types on the back of the card…

  8. Pikachu says:
