Pokémon Black and White are the fourth games released for the Nintendo DS console and are the start of the Fifth Generation of Pokémon games. However, they are by far the most enhanced and have a lot of new features that the previous games do not have. Reshiram is the iconic legendary Pokémon in Black, whilst in in White it is Zekrom. The games include over 150 new Pokémon. The game takes place in the new region of Unova, and this time, Team Plasma are the villains.
There are a large number of new features in both of these games, including whole new ways to battle, seasonal cycles and fully animated Pokémon when battling. The scenery around your character has also changed and is a lot more realistic as you move around, enhanced by some 3D effects possibly inspired from the 3DS. The plot in each game is almost the same, featuring slightly different scenes in certain parts of the game and of course, the main legendary Pokémon is different in each one. The styles of the games are similar to the previous DS releases: the young trainer obtaining and training many Pokémon. Then obviously you will go on to become League Champion and ultimately capture and log every Pokémon there is out there. Black and White are said to more of a challenge than the previous games.
