It’s summer time here in America and many people are going on vacation. A very popular and traditional travel destination is a certain place with lots of sand, heat and water. It’s time to hit the beach! The ocean has always been a large role in Pokémon games. Hello PD, it is nice to be back! I would like to bring back a little segment from awhile back called “Trainer Tips”! Since X&Y was released in October, the Pokémon gaming world as we know it has been shaken up and changed forever. We will hopefully try to put out Trainer Tips more often. For those of you who live in Europe, Canada or Australia, the last shiny Sinnoh Legendary is now Live in your respective Game Stores. Between now and the release of Pokémon X & Y, October 12th, You can complete your Shiny Sinnoh Legendary collection with shiny Giratina. You can get your hands on Shiny Giratina from GAME in the UK, EB Games in Canada and Australia and other selected retail stores across Europe which you can send to your copies of Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 & White 2.
About an hour ago via Twitter, the Pokémon Company announced a new Trading Card Game series called XY! This new series of Pokémon cards will feature the latest generation of Pokémon and the brand new Fairy-type! Three new Kalos starter decks will be coming to stores this Fall, after the world-wide release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y in October. The Shiny Sinnoh Trio event we mentioned a while back has begun in America. Starting from today you can grab yourself a Shiny Dialga from Gamestop. So what are you waiting for? The Pokemon World Championships 2013 finals is about to start on the official Pokemon Twitch channel! These are the best of the best Pokemon trainers in all age divisions fighting for the championship title and it’s all being streamed live.
A new announcement was made today at Gamestop regarding Pokémon Black and White 2. This new event will distribute Shiny legendaries between different dates. This event was also announced by various GAME stores across the UK. From August to October, players can obtain a shiny Dialga, Palkia and Giratina by downloading them via Gamestop or GAME depending on where you live. Hit the Jump for more information.
The Global Showdown registration is now open until through the end of the day on Thursday, July 25th. The prize for participating has been revealed as well, and is much more interesting than just a berry to add to your collection.
Every player who completes at least 5 matches will be eligible to compete in the very first Pokemon X and Pokemon Y competition. It is described as a “test competition” so this will very much be a beta testing type of tournament to work out any kinks before they hold any larger scale events on the new Global Link site. If you want in on the first Gen VI Wi-Fi action, make sure to register as soon as possible, as they do have a limit of how many people can participate.
