Hey PD, Olivia here! It’s half way through August and I just realized this month is especially good for Flying-type Pokémon! The sun is out, there is a nice breeze, perfect weather for flight. Therefore this month should be dedicated to the marvelous Flying-Types of the Pokémon world! The month’s name, August, speaks for itself. As of now, Flying-type Pokémon make up a good chunk of the 18 types out there so far, making it the third most common type. There are 99 Flying-type Pokémon(counting all altered forms), which is almost how many Johto Pokémon there are in total (Johto has 100). Hit the jump for a Wailord-size post about Flying-type trivia and a pokéditorial!
It’s summer time here in America and many people are going on vacation. A very popular and traditional travel destination is a certain place with lots of sand, heat and water. It’s time to hit the beach! The ocean has always been a large role in Pokémon games. According to Bulbapedia, “As of Generation VI, there are 124 Water-type Pokémon or 16.8% of all Pokémon (counting forms and Mega Evolutions that change typing as different Pokémon), making it the most common of the eighteen types.” Today I have some unique themes concerning the beach, hit the jump to enjoy!
Hello everyone, Snormax here once again with another edition of “Farfetch’d Friday” where I inform you about a Pokémon that I personally believe does not get the recognition it deserves and explain why it should have a spot on your team. As always, I will be analyzing its typing, viable options for items as well as moves, and of course a set or two that I believe allows to the Pokémon to reach its full Potential. For this week, I will be doing a Pokémon that I believe rocks harder than any other. If you have any opinions on Regirock or have any rocks puns you would like to unleash, let it out in the comment section below. This article has sure had a rocky start.
Hello PokéFans! My name is Max (Also known as Snormax) and I am a new author here at Pokémon Dungeon. I am excited for the opportunity to participate in the growth of this site along several others. With that, I will be doing a segment that I call “Farfetch’d Friday” in which I will be presenting Pokémon to you that I believe are overlooked in the competitive field and what they can bring to the table. I will be analyzing their type in its defensive and offensive use, its viable moves and items, and topping it off with my own personal set. For this week, I will be doing a Pokémon that I love not just for its adorableness, but also for its pure strength – Cinccino. If you have any input on this cute little critter, let me know in the comment section below!
Recently another Eevee Friendly will be held for the first time in Generation 6, now allowing the new “Eeveelution” Sylveon in the rotation battle format. This tournament that will take place from the 11th of July to the 13th of July is open for registration starting on the 3rd of July to the 10th. The strategies in this tournament are very different than in normal play due to the rotation battle format and the extremely limited number of Pokemon available. Below I will try to give an example of common sets and teams that you may see if you participate in this Eevee friendly.
